DocStage manages the complete lifecycle of customer-facing documents, from drafting and approval through to controlled release. Changes are versioned and auditable, with documents generated at runtime from a single, authoritative source.
We are seeking a small number of design partners to work closely with us, shaping the product and validating it against real-world use cases and governance requirements.
The problem

Wording is often drafted in isolation, passed between stakeholders for input and approval, then reimplemented in downstream systems or application logic. Ownership is fragmented, changes are difficult to coordinate and ensuring that what was approved is what gets delivered becomes increasingly difficult over time.

Dickie Smith was the first employee and product manager at an InsurTech focused on trade credit insurance for SMEs.
DocStage is based on direct experience managing policy wording, document changes and customer communications in a regulated environment, where control and traceability are critical but tooling is fragmented and coordination is often manual.
